PuTTY v0.53b & Links v0.99

Hi! I just upgraded links from v0.97. I noticed after using Links v0.99
and quitting, my mouse buttons (left and right) makes funny results like:
#zz... #zz. etc.
Is anyone else noticing this? eLinks and old Links didn't do this before.
I use Red Hat Linux 7.1 on two different boxes.
