copy URL to clipboard does not work

Hi,

I'm new to the list. Links is just great, very fast and efficient !
Just one problem I get with Links 2.1pre14 on a Linux debian box :
the "copy current URL location" does not seem to work. 
When I chose this function in the file menu or right clicking on an URL,
nothing seems to happen : no corresponding new item in KDE klipper,
nor success when trying to paste the URL with middle click or Ctrl V in
another application like kwrite.

Any hint ?
