Are lynx cache an issue?

Hi All: While I am at an easynews site downloading binaries, after saving at 
least a gig's worth of 171mb files. I then get a message saying "filewriter, no 
space left on device" So I figured, if I could clear my cache? But in reading, 
supposedly lynx doesn't cache. After that I hit  a control+x to go in a jar. 
But I cannot figure out if I can delete items? To make matters worse, whether 
its my local machine or on Shellworld, when I follow link#1 for help,  it 
cannot access document. Supposedly the url is for a dot gz file of a 
user-guide. If I could clear what ever cache or memory, I wouldn't need to exit 
the site so often. Please inform in ways of improving an experience in grabbing 
large files. Thanks so much in advnace
