Might be temporary directory size. Often, /tmp is not as large as
other spaces. lynx honours the TMPDIR environment variable, but for
downloading large files, I=E2=80=99d use wget, as lynx insists on downloadi=
ng
to the tmpdir, then storing the potentially decompressed file in a
second step.
