Reading Usenet in LYNX?

Hi All: For the last 31years I mostly use Alpine or trn to read or grab news 
articles or binaries from Usenet. I know from the lynx man-page that lynx can 
connect to an nntp server, however, there seems no mention of a sequence of 
what I would type to connect or select a news-group? I tried 
lynx news.us.easynews.com
but it just tried as a web-page. I also tried putting an nntp after lynx. In 
that man-page there are 4lines about news chunks size. Please inform what they 
are-and-how do I configure them? I would suppose lynx would have no way of 
threading articles? Thanks so much in advance
