I=E2=80=99ve got a bit of success-ish with both:
lynx nntp://news.us.easynews.com
and
lynx news://news.us.easynews.com
Success as in, it asks for a username (which I don=E2=80=99t have).
From=20earlier experience reading GMane news with lynx, you
don=E2=80=99t need *any* configuration and it will just work with
any site that runs an actual NNTP/Usenet server.
