what controls the rendering of ™ ?

No matter what I do lynx renders ™ as (TM). I changed def7_uni.tbl and the 2 occurrences in LYCharSets.c to trdoff. The string (TM) no longer appears in lynx; trdoff does but goes unused. I can't find it in any of lynx's dependencies. russell bell
