You could do something like that by adding an EXTERNAL in lynx.cfg:

I do this (and other programs) for testing:

EXTERNAL:ftp:oldlynx %s:TRUE
EXTERNAL:file:oldlynx %s:TRUE
EXTERNAL:http:oldlynx %s:TRUE
EXTERNAL:nntp:oldlynx %s:TRUE
EXTERNAL:snews:oldlynx %s:TRUE

If I type a "," (comma) on a link, lynx gives me a menu with
the choices from my lynx.cfg

"k" says comma is bound to EXTERN_PAGE:

,           EXTERN_PAGE   run external program with current page =20
