I did notice that the tests are pretty sensitive to having certain Apache 
modules enabled in a certain order to all pass. Specifically, I think you 
have to load/enable mod_perl _after_ mod_dir to get things passing. This 
is a well known problem when trying to use Mason's dhandlers under 
mod_perl.

Unfortunately, the tests are not smart enough to figure this out, so they 
just run and fail, rather than fixing things up in their own config.
