That summarizes it quite well actually.

I won't comment the rest of the discussion, as I don't have the time (or nerves)
for it right now. My decision still stands. I will gladly start thinking about
integration of MidCOM to a post 1.7 version when some good
documentation/design/masterplan/management is available and the amount of work
again gets calculateable by me.

To clarify one last thing: I do not want a perfect documentation like Microsoft
offers for .NET in form of MSDN. Even MidCOM itself is quite far from what I
would really like to have as well, if I "limit" my expectations. But I want to
see some positive effort beeing done, that actually takes me ahead again.
Without collecting unstructured (and usually incomplete) information from two
dozen blogs, -dev postings, irc chatlogs and whatnot.

I'll leave you alone with this discussion now, happy organizing.
