Hi! This is not going to be about real roadmap. I would like to remind you what I repeat since year. I want to make good future plans only ( and only ) when we can develope good core without legacy code and its issues. While many developers expect clear plans I remind you that we have *urgent* mandatory plan to make 1.8 release. This is important because 1.8 is not installable at this moment and creating 1-8 branch means starting the work on real Midgard2 architecture. We can share the ideas etc , but without 1.9alpha we can *still only share* them. In next few days ( probably Friday or Monday ) I will write about features which should be discussed before 1.9 and are mandatory IMO. Keep in mind that time is very unfriendly for us. Issues like gcc4, MySQL 4.0 UTF, error reporting can not be solved before 1.8 is out. There is no revolution in midgard core for 1.8 release, so please ( honestly I beg ) report undocumented features or missed in docs one, and remember about issue tracker which is also designed for feature requests and even for issues with small priorities.
