I have a feeling this person knows since:
1)this tool generates flash mx from avi

2)this tool generates avi from a mix of different sources(i.e. quake game stuff
and flash among other sources).

IMHO somewhere in the solution is imagemagick/aviplay tools sources involved
among other things like the codecs for divx/xdiv...
