Adam Bosworth and mod-pubsub

Looks like AdamB is interested in "httpd on the client" (as John "Mr
Sunshine" Tigue once put it many years ago).

There are comments that indicate BEA has RESTafarians in-house, and even an
offhand mention of mod-pubsub that implied 'been there they've done that'
kind of attitude.

Also talk about caching proxies, disconnected use, 'push' to a client via
requests to a local server (as if you would do anything else on the web).
Something to watch.
