** HACKATHON THIS WEEKEND!!! **

A team of intrepid pubsubbers at Casa Rifkin are planning to hack till we drop,
with short breaks to collapse facedown in the shag carpeting, eat cold pizza,
and swig flat soft drinks.  Team members around the world are invited to join
us via chat (must supply own shag carpeting, cold pizza, and flat soft drinks).

The agenda:

1)  Less-ghetto reaping of events, esp routes and journals
2)  Safari/Konqueror bug
3)  Two-window CPU-thrashing problem in Mozilla
4)  My damn paper
5)  Syndic8 random feed
6)  Design session for Mojito
7)  Move mod-pubsub.org to new server
8)  New logo for T-shirts? (the most important part of any Open Source project)
9)  Plans for Apachecon and PHPCon presentations
10) Liberate the presence app
11) PeopleOnPage app
12) Instant Messaging gateway

The details:

The Hackathon will kick off at 6PM Friday July 18th PDT.  It will continue
without surcease or mercy until Brooklyn -- or midnight Sunday the 20th,
whichever comes first.  Local contingent:  bring snacks, personal hygiene
products, and laptops with wireless cards -- we particularly need a Mac with OS
X for the Safari bug.  Others, we will try to continuously man the chat during
the hackathon.  If there's some particular piece of the agenda you'd like to
work on, do tell me or Rifkin -- otherwise, we will start assigning tasks and
you won't like that very much at all.  :-)
