I'm glad I'm not the only one! With me it is mostly on a single machine running XPPro with all the services packs, AVG latest (updated at least once a day) and Spybot S+D latest. Opera had always been very stable and reliable until recently. I thought moving it from 9.63 to 9.64 might have cured it, but it didn't. It usually goes when I'm not actively using it. I'll be working on my laptop next to it when I see the Opera needs to close down message on the adjacent screen. I, too, normally have lots of tabs open but I have always done so. Incidentally, the laptop which has the same versions of everything doesn't seem to have a problem.
