Upgrading to Opera 10??

How would I change the paths Opera looks at to find the files?
Namely the file paths displayed when you type:
about:opera
in the location bar.
I posted this once before and got back a reply that said, edit the file
pointed to on the preference line.
However that file did not contain any of the info found on the about:opera
display. So, I still at the same point as before.
How can I point Opera 10 to the location of my mail used in version 9.64?
