Opera Hangs on Some Emails

Hello everyone, I'm using Opera 10.00 (build 6652) on Mac OS X 10.6.1 and am having a major problem with mail in Opera. Attempting to view certain emails causes Opera to hang. Opera must be force quit. The email never displays, either - Opera hangs before providing any output. Needless to say, this is preventing me from keeping my inbox clean, and most recently, it's preventing me from reading certain emails. The only thing that seems to link the problematic emails together is that they are HTML-based (I strongly suspect, anyway - can't open to verify). The emails are from different, completely unrelated senders and to different mail accounts. However, not all HTML emails trigger this problem; it seems to be selective. I have filed a bug report with Opera but can't do much beyond describing the issue. I'm very hopeful that Opera 10.10 will fix this problem, but at this point I'm desperate.
