Hello: This message is aimed at opera linux developers. In earlier versions of linux opera which used qt3 it was very easy to save or open a file anywhere in a complicated directory hierarchy since the directory path could be pasted into the open/save window's path bar. Unfortunately it changed has changed, and currently the path can not be pasted into linux opera's native file chooser window. This makes opening and saving files very cumbersome, especially if the open/save directories have to be changed frequently. Only the finding of a given directory among the hundreds in the directory list is very uncomfortable and time consuming not to mention that this step has to be repeated several times just for saving one file. And the whole procedure has to be repeated with every file which is in/to be saved in another directory. For the above reason I am asking if it would be possible to reimplement copy/paste capability into linux opera native file chooser window.
