thank you very much for your reply.

the processing of the payment has to be by hand since the company which supplies the credit only accepts faxes from me.

so all i need to know is in how many months they want to pay, so i can fill it in on a form (writing) and then fax it to the credit company. when they accept the customer also has to sign the form i wrote.

all i want the payment module to do is let a customer select 12,24,36,48,60 or 72 months and show the customer what they have to pay per month. this way it will be more clear for the customer what he/she has to pay per month.

below is an example of another site doing businesses with the same credit company, although they run a different ecommerce system:

as you can see, if the customer chooses for example 24 months, then the "[b]pay per month[/b]" ammount changes dynamicly.

this is all the payment module has to do. i think it is rather simple, but i dont have a clue about writing a module like this. if anyone can help me by managing to create this module that would be great.
