I'm not in favor a fork

I would like the changes I am making to make it into the project as a whole.  (I'm the guy that's doing the smarty development).  If it isn't, that's fine.  There will be a fork of sorts. We (me and the company I work for) are going to use osc with the smarty template engine.  Also, I know some people here are interested in that.

At any rate, I don't think it would be appropriate to fork over that.  If it just turns out to be something that a handful of people want, then so be it!  I'm just doing it because we need it, and I want to try and make osc better.

Now, stay tuned, I'm back on that project.  I had to put out some fires at the office during the last 2 weeks, so I got delayed.
