(side note: Other fork projects we are not allowed to talk about here have disappered for about two weeks. I do not know the exact reasons.)

Now for the general question

Ain't it allowed starting fork project on OpenSource project as long as it remains OpenSource? Or will anyone who wants to start an fork project
get sued and hindered starting his own (public) customized shop system based on OSC?
