This could be an office, warehouse, store, or whatever - basically any business presence. " This seems to be true in most states. Although, a side comment on this subject, since we don't have a significant business presence, local tax should not be an issue. Checking with our tax people in Texas, concerining Internet sales, which are shipped FOB our dock, we treat all internet sales to Texas residents as though they came into the store, and have to charge our local sales tax, and report it same as an instore sale.
