I am unsure you can  (as in pretty much convinced that you can't) demand this under the GPL:
Section 2 of the GPL states
'You may modify your copy or copies of the Program or any portion of it,... provided that you also meet all of these conditions'

a. Provide notice of change to the original
b. Licence the whole thing under the GPL
c. Display copyright notice (i.e. the GPL)

I think you can make an osC derivate meeting the obligations of the GPL and not display the osC banner in the admin module. ( But don't take my word for it, IANAL. If you want to be sure maybe it is wise to run it by the FSF)
