OS commerce modified, as an ASP

:D  this software is great


my project is to offer to small shops the ability to sell on the internet, using a software in ASP mode (application service provider)

therefore i plan to heavily modify the oscommerce source code.

can you tell me :

if i can sell services to my customers, and use the modified version of this software to provide them  the service

if i can resell the modified version of the software (the purpose would not be to resell os commerce but a modified version)

please i'm not a GPL expert, i do not understand everything in the GPL licensing notice, so i need a precise answer. And i do not want to make a mistake about it
