Yes you can sell a copy - modified or not - as long as the licence and copywrites are intact and the "admin" copywrite notice is not removed (you can however move it and/or add to it). IE: Copywitten by osCommerce & JPF Remember - it has to remain as GPL software. Note: under GLP - a customer could "buy" your copy of the code, then they could take this and give it new copies away if they want. You have to make the disiction that your NOT selling the source code but giving them a copy that is copywritten by osCommerce and possably also your self - if heavly modified.
