This message was sent from: Installation and Configuration http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?p=228449#228449 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, I am in the process of selecting a e-commerce solution. Having tried pncommerce with much difficulty and lack of support in the past week, I have elected to try oscommerce as an alternative solution. I have attempted to install the osCommerce 2.2-MS2 application. In doing so, the process appeared to go smoothly, I think. I verified the DB in PHPMyAdmin and saw all 46 tables listed there too. I got to the end, was taken to the catalog/index.php page and I can see information on that page. However, at that last step, I was also given the choice of selecting the "administration" area, to which when I clicked on that link, I got an apache page error. For some reason, I cannot get to the admin area of oscommerce. I believe this is because during the install process, I was asked to rename the "admin" directory, which I did. My question at this point is, where and what must I manually configure now to reflect the renaming of the admin directory to another directory name? What *.php files must I tell the system to show this change? Please advise and I thank you in advance for this information. Best wishes, iukini
