That might work for reports except for clickpaths. It might be possible to somehow generate a condensed version of the data needed for clickpaths but I am not sure. Furthermore I think that there are some other API calls that need access to all the data. But I agree that were it helps to speed things up saving a condensed version of the data is a good idea.
