Dan,

'Mask wan port' is there to support port
mapping by proxies/gateways/routers. For instance, my
Dynamic DNS provider
(Dynu.com) can map certain URLs to certain ports on
my lan. So it's possible, if the moon is in the right
alignment, for me to send out Pixory invitations that
do _not_ contain a port number, even though Pixory is
running on 8081.

instead of http://yyy.yyy.yyy:8081
just http://yyy.yyy.yyy

The 'mask wan port' selection affects _only_ the urls
that appear in the email invitations: nothing else.

Pixory doesn't hard code the "web context"
(http://hostname:port)-- it should always use the "web
context" of the requesting URL. So if your guest
arrives at Pixory (via a proxy) with URL
http://yourhost, then all of the navigation should be
based on that context, and not some other hardcoded
context. Of course, if you proxy is _rewriting_ the
URLs, then that's a different story. The important
thing is the request URL that shows up to the Pixory
web application.

Hope this helps.

Joe
