Alon, Yep, that's how "display file names" works. The filename is displayed if there is no caption. No one has complained so far, so I figured that this implementation is reasonable. Do you think it should work differently? Yes, you pretty much summed up my current thinking about "cascading album attributes". There will be an "attributes" editor on all pixory "nodes" (folders/directories), not just on albums as it is now. When you set attributes on that node, the same attributes will be set on all children nodes, including albums, overwriting all existing settings. You can then go into any child node and change the settings on the child without affecting the parent. So, in other words, attribute settings always cascade down. Also, every time you create a new child node, including albums, it "inherits" the attribute settings from its parent node. The only shortcoming I see to this scheme is that its pretty easy to accidentally overwrite a whole bunch of carefully chosen individual album settings by absent mindedly changing the settings for a distant parent node. regards, joe --- In [email protected], "Alon :\)" <alonfw@w...> wrote: > Joe, > > 3799 would be the same as pic 1 in that album. That would be perfect from my perspective. > > Alon :-) > ------------------------ Yahoo!
