I found one album with this issue.  Let me know what steps I should to
troubleshoot or collect data.

All feedback is appreciated, regardless of quantity ;)

I'm unable to reproduce the cover problems you mention. I've checked
my own Pixory, and all the custom album covers show up properly, even
after cycling pixory. The next time you spot this condition, please
save a copy the .alb file from the .album directory and send it to me.
