Yep, it's a clue. The commonality is that you keep trying the same
smtp server. Try a different smtp server if you really want to "try
something different".

Most likely the problem resides at your ISP. Why don't you simply send
them an email and ask them if their server authenticates via
pop-beore-smtp? Or check their support website for your problem. I'm
sure they'll send you an answer. If they are using pop-before-smtp,
then Pixory will display exactly the symptoms you are seeing-- mail
mysteriously vanishes, never reaching its destination and never
generating any error messages. It's a known fact that this is the
behaviour of JavaMail when confronted with a "pop-beore-smtp" server.
