Re: ACDsee and Exif?

Gunnar,

I used exifprobe (on freshmeat.net) to look inside the files you
posted. The original file is pure Exif, not JFIF, and it contains a
thumbnail. It looks like ACDSee is tranforming (I'm guessing rotating)
the thumbnail, and in the process turns the file into an incorrect
JFIF/EXIF hybrid. 

Perhaps if you strip out the thumbnail, then ACDSee won't convert the
file into JFIF.
