Sharing problem in 3.6

I have an album that used to be accessible using Anon URL. Since
making changes to this album and playing around with changing the
access to Listed Contacts and back to Anon URL, the album cannot now
be seen at all except if I make it public. As soon as it is put back
to Anon URL, users get an error "You do not have access to this
album".
I am using Windows XP Pro and Java 1.4.1_03
