This will be addressed in a future release. But for now you are on
your own for this capability. I know from reading this list that
others have got it working.

No, this is not accurate. When you set a share, it takes effect
*immediately*. You do not have to log out.

Hmmm, I have a hard time visualizing what you are doing here. But it
sounds like you might be doing more work than you have to. Why can't
you just set all of the shares for the album you are interested in all
at once? That's what I do.

The back button is a limitation on all platforms, not just windows.
It's a common problem in a certain class of dynamic web applications.

You do somewhere-- it's where all of your configuration information
and shares are stored! If it somehow gets accidentally deleted, you
would lose your configuration settings and your shares. I suggest that
you track it down using search in the Windows explorer. It's normally
in your "home" directory, which on Win2K is c:\Documents and
Settings\<your login name>.

Also, as I have mentioned several times before on this list, I believe
that *all* Pixory users who have made a significant investment in
setting up sharing information and contact lists should periodically
*backup* the .pixory directory. Album information such as captions,
narratives, custom date settings, etc, is all stored individually in
the album directories themselves and can be reconstructed by Pixory in
the event of a database loss. However, the contact lists and shares
are stored only in the database, so it's important for you to backup
the database.

The next time you upgrade Pixory, first put a copy of the .pixory
directory somewhere safe. Then, if you have data loss issues that you
believe are related to the upgrade, you can always restore any lost
data *and* you can greatly aid the bug hunting effort by providing me
with reliable before and after snapshots of the database.
