OK, It is most likely just me...I can get Pixory to run fine inside
my network, but even when I open port 8081 and forward it, I am
having trouble seeing Pixory from outside...Mybe it is so simple no
one needs it (but me), but I could use a little help understanding
possible issues with Pixory config on the network. What I am doing so
far is running Pixory from the command line (in Linux as root), while
my main site is running on Apache. How should I have the darn thing
configured? Inside the firewall I just go to http://myip:8081 then I
log in. Of course from outside the firewall I am typing in
http://mydomain.net:8081 - this gets me nowhere. I suspect it is
because my rounter and my Webserver are not at the same address. My
firewall is configured to pass 8080 traffic to the IP of my server,
and as far as I can tell I am passing 8081 traffic to my server as
well - I just don't get an answer (page not found). Any help is
appreciated.
Also - My customers need to download less than all files! I can't get
that to work - am I missing something?
Thanks,
Cecil
