Navjeet,

Pixory uses Eric Albert's BrowserLauncher in order to attempt
automatic browser launching on startup--

http://browserlauncher.sourceforge.net/

You can look at the code to figure out why it is looking for Netscape
on your system.

As mentioned in doc/limitations.html, automatic browser launching
fails on some linux configurations. In practice, "some linux
configurations" may in fact mean "most or all linux configurations"
(YMMV). If you want, you can turn off automatic browser launching with
this java system property:

-Dbrowser.launch=true

Also, if you run Pixory "headless", the BrowserLauncher will not get
called.

If anyone knows of a more reliable open-source "browser launcher"
please let me know.

regards,

joe
