It would appear to be a bug in APT.  APT is requesting the URL

  http://USERNAME:[email protected]

from the proxy, which is not correct HTTP.  The correct way is to request

  http://apt.metastructure.fr

and negotiate end-to-end HTTP security using the mechanisms defined in
RFC 2617.

Sorry, I'm not going to work around this in Polipo -- you're going to
have to get APT fixed.
