Custom Directory for the Disk Cache

Hi,

I'd like to define a custom directory for the polipo disk cache on my
secondary solid-state drive, which is built into my machine.

After making the necessary changes in the web interface, polipo
complaints in its log file «Couldn't create disk file / Permission
denied», although the new cache folder uses the exactly same permission
settings like the default folder (/var/cache/polipo/) does.

Any ideas what I did wrong? I would appreciate any help.

My system specs:
- Linux Mint 16
- Polipo 1.0.4.1-3
