Hi all, So I've found the rather useful script cvs2cl.pl (from here: http://www.red-bean.com/cvs2cl/) that I'm hoping will reduce the pain of extracting and formatting the commit messages appropriately. It seems very flexible and, usefully, supports xml output and xsl formatting that I might be able to use to at least get the format of the messages exactly right, even though of course there'll be a bunch of deletion and comprehensibility improvements that need to follow. I have a few questions so that I can try to get this right first time: - I'm guessing that there's a limit to the ChangeLog line length so that the sgml conversion goes smoothly - what is the max line length allowed? - is the indenting and hyphenation crucial? i.e. two spaces and a hyphen before an item, no spaces and a hyphen before a section heading?
