what couple of other things? the pyxml is the only requirement that I
really don't like, and I agree with you about the template stomping.
However, I couldn't convince myself to rewrite a plugin that was
functional for a whole bunch of people (and this is coming from a guy
who rewrote both the pathinfo and filelist handlers just so he could
understand them better).

If I had my druthers, we'd pickle the comments instead of putting them
in xml. When would they ever need to be read by anything but Python? I
don't see much advantage there.
