My issue (just to clarify) is not that he said we weren't trying hard 
(though, I think that's a bit of a weird way to say what he's probably 
intending), but more that he doesn't offer any advice, insight, links or 
anything after that statement.  I think it's mildly useless.

Just to clarify a bit further, Jack and Philip tend to send to-the-point 
emails that (I think) err on the side of lacking information, but I think 
it's because they're busy and just don't spend the time.  Nothing wrong 
with that necessarily.

I was on the Web-SIG a while back when they were discussing the early 
stages of WSGI but then I dropped off for whatever reason.  Anyhow, since 
then I haven't followed WSGI at all.  Looking at it now 
(http://www.python.org/peps/pep-0333.html), it might be something we 
should continue re-working the codebase towards.  As you said, it might 
make it much easier to run PyBlosxom on the various web-server/framework 
combinations.

I think I'm going to spend some time cleaning up the web-site a bit and 
building a "this is the list of things we're thinking about doing" series 
of pages that allow for comments.  That will help keep other people who 
aren't on the mailing lists in the loop with what kinds of things we're 
tossing around.
