contrib release et al

I went through all the changes in CVS since March 2005 and sorted through 
what this release actually contained.  It took an hour to sort some things 
out since we're only so-so on checkin comments.

But still, an hour isn't bad at all--I was expecting it to take longer.

Anyhow, I then did the release using ReleaseForge.  It's _fantastic_ and 
made the whole process _so_ much easier.

I'm thinking given that experience, I have enough time and gumption to 
volunteer for release manager.  If that's kosher with people, then we'll 
have:

    web-master:            Steven Armstrong
    release manager:       Will Guaraldi
    mailing-list manager:  Wari Wahab
    documentation manager: ?
    cvs maintainer:        ?
    project maintainer:    ?

Ted and Wari did the cvs maintainer work for the contrib plugin.  Are you 
guys kosher with continuing to do that work?  Anyone else want to take 
ownership of one of the above hats?  Does this list of hats make sense or 
should we build a different list of hats (I made this one up off the top 
of my head)?
