| I went through all the changes in CVS since March 2005 and sorted
| through what this release actually contained. It took an hour to sort
| some things out since we're only so-so on checkin comments.

A policy which I've found helps is to actually send those to a public
mailing list. People then want to at least write one line which makes
sense rather than «.» and other non-informative messages.

| Ted and Wari did the cvs maintainer work for the contrib plugin. Are
| you guys kosher with continuing to do that work? Anyone else want to
| take ownership of one of the above hats? Does this list of hats make
| sense or should we build a different list of hats (I made this one up
| off the top of my head)?

I'll stay around giving input on packaging issues and anything else I
see crop up.
