Yeah I thought that was the approach, and was trying to stick to it. My
flavor is pretty plain, I expect most users would be happy to use it
until they got round to doing their own. The default flavor with no CSS
on the other hand maybe takes this idea too far?

We could make my flavour so that the HTML templates are complicated only
minimally. The CSS could be moved to a .css file, then the head template
would only need to import that file, have the proper XHTML header (which
it ought to have anyway), and open a couple of divs for the layout,
aside from that it'd be just the same. foot template closes the divs.
Other template files are exactly as in the current default.

What if we included both, with mine as the default, and with a 'Basic
(no CSS)' link in it to the original default flavor? I've added that
link to my flavor now.

Either way I'll submit it to the registry sometime.

And pyblosxom rocks! I just looked through some of the plugins, can't
wait to get tagging and tag cloud running.
