Cool, thanks a bunch Will. I had one issue cropping up with respect to 
wbgarchives and static rendering. Rendering statically, lead to archive 
pages that contained the full blog posts (and not the nicer wbgarchives 
summary pages), I had to add the extra URLS ['/2010/','/2009/,etc] to 
config.py in order to get those rendered too (and some RewriteRule 
trickery to get the resulting pages shown. Would it be possible to get 
the /year/ pages rendered by default when I have wbgarchives active?
I have solved the issue for now with my extra pages, but it's not a very 
'clean' solution.
