Not that I know of.  Most of the ones I've looked at take your 'source' 
files and run them through the program, generating the 'www' files.  You 
then upload your 'www' files to your server (or point your webserver at 
that directory if all of this is living on your server).  Most of them 
are smart enough not to regenerate the whole website everytime - only 
the files that have changed get made.  Some of the more modern ones can 
also be run in 'watch' mode for when you are working on your website.  
When you save a file it automatically regens your site.  Several of them 
also come with a preview server, like octopress.
