One last thing. I have now a setup where I write posts in a local git
repository, and when pushing it automatically regenerates all static
pages on the remote server. It's really handy, to publish new pages.

What I also forgot: volt can have different engines: It has one for blog
style pages and one for static pages (contact, CV, or whatnot) by
default. They have different url styles and different plugins. E.g. my
blog posts have the disqus plugin, but the
http://sspaeth.de/how-to-contact-me/ has not.

Thanks for the great work on pyblsoxom, Will. I appreciate all the work
you've (and all the others) been putting into it.

Other options that I had explored for static blog page creation is:
