Different entry parsers based on extension

I read through http://pyblosxom.sourceforge.net/1.3.1/manual/x721.html . I have a mediawiki parser that I'm updating as I transition to using pyblosxom, but I have some old entries I wrote in raw HTML. How feasible is it to switch between formats based on file extension?
