I'm not sure anymore as I've found a new problem :)

I used ethereal to debug the communications between the wire, and yes, 
w.bloggar did sent out a request /without/ a username and password. 
That's one problem, the other problem I get is that pyblosxom xmlrpc 
creates a response, and sent the whole thing across the wire, but 
w.bloggar may actually get half the data (if your request produces a 
response bigger than x number of bytes, where x is undertermined yet.)

So I tested with the *ehem* trusty windows telnet and did a manual POST, 
ethereal tells me that everything is sent, but telnet tells me that 
apache only sent things halfway. So there's really some problem going on 
here that I probably have no idea how to fix. With putty, I get 
everything I want in the response, and python's xmlrpclib gets the right 
results too. The problem could well be the network library that is in 
use, either by apache or w.bloggar (or windows).

I'll probe deeper to see if I can find anything.
