How do you have PyBlosxom set up? Is it running as a CGI? FastCGI?
Under Paste/mod_python/Twisted/...?

I suspect that the answer will depend on your setup.

I have mine as a CGI and so my Apache things are in the .htaccess file
in my public_html directory.
